How many times can you remember receiving invites to a Facebook page, event, or group, that were not relevant to you or your interests? I constantly receive invites to events that are not even in the same country. This can get EXTREMELY irritating, and demonstrates poor online etiquette. 

When you launch a Facebook page, event or group, PLEASE do not mass invite all your friends. If you do, not only will you annoy them, but some may even un-friend you. You should ONLY send invites to those that you feel would actually take a interest in your business or event, or are your influencers and evangelists.

So, how do you do this? The key is to build lists in Facebook based off your friend’s interests.
